PRESIDENT’S GREETING

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
As President of the Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association of Macedonia and Thrace, I am pleased to announce the organization of our 41st Annual Congress to be held in 20-22 April 2023 in Thessaloniki, under the title “Orthopaedics in the 21st century – New Era for Musculoskeletal Problems”.
In the ongoing effort of our Society to disseminate and enhance scientific knowledge, the Congress constitutes our flagship event offering Members the optimal opportunity to get together with physical presence and exchange experiences.
We are fully committed to presenting and conveying scientific knowledge on treatments of the musculoskeletal system. All our Society Members, as well as all Orthopaedic Departments in the Region of Macedonia & Thrace, contribute substantially to generating new knowledge with their research papers and their daily clinical practice.
As an Active Member of the European and International Community of Orthopaedics, our Society has been always aiming at promoting our colleagues’ knowledge and experience.
Held every spring, our Annual Congress is the culmination of our events. The presence of highly distinguished colleagues from Greece and abroad and the high participation rate are a guarantee for another successful Congress. In 2023, the Congress “returns” to the venue of the emblematic “Macedonia Pallas Hotel”, an integral part of Thessaloniki’s seafront, so that the educational process will be combined with relaxation and entertainment in the lively center of the city.
